Featuring the compositions of Mitch Marcus and bassist Ezra Gale (Super Hi-Fi, Aphrodesia), the band also features saxophonist Chris Hiatt (Japonize Elephants), drummer Joe Abba, and percussionist Kolipe Camara. Crime jazz fans assemble! Big Lazy has flourished for over two decades in New York’s downtown music scene, playing their singular brand of noir and twang. Big Lazy founder Stephen Ulrich scored the HBO show Bored to Death and music for This American Life. Legendary “music critic Robert Christgau once called them The Big Apple Crème de la Crème."

Incredible young sax player Kevin Oliver, Jr.‘s debut album, “OLIVER,” offers an immersive journey through diverse musical traditions, reflecting the cultural roots of Atlanta and the rich heritage of American music. Echo Rhythm Band layeth down deep, afro-funk grooves and melodies of vintage African diasporic music (think Fela Kuti, Orchestre Poly-Rhythmo and Salif Keita) in a wide-open context of improvising that takes listeners from dub ambience to ecstatic psychedelia. The quartet consists of Nikhil P. Yerawadekar (Antibalas, Hailu Mergia) on guitar, Matt Bauder (Father John Misty, Jovanotti) on tenor sax and keyboards, Ben Zwerin (Anjelique Kidjo, Lizz Wright) on bass, and Aaron Johnston (Brazilian Girls, David Byrne) on drums. Tokyo, Japan’s Yuma Abe is touring around his 2024 album Hotel New Yuma with a 5 piece band, his soundtrack to Japanese movies from the 1950s and ‘60s. Get ready for a groovy, funky, sexy concept-heavy set that will be a whole lot of fun. MEMBERS TICKETS HERE

PIANO BAR is back with a very special duo night bringing together Sink into our velvety lounge for a soulful piano/vocals duo performance featuring DAVID LINARD + JACKIE WEST. These two solo artists are oft-collaborators and together recorded the million-streaming single Lemons.
