NEW YEARS EVE
On Wednesday 12/31/25, we invite you to a re-creation of one of the most socially, cinematically, and fashionably influencial parties of 1967. DJs Andy Pry (Tiki Disco) and DJ Harlan will provide a musical backdrop worthy of Nico and Jim Morrison’s first tête-à-tête in the powder room. Doors 8pm, DJs from 9-1. You must be a member to purchase tickets. Memberships start at $30/year.
It was the winter of 1967, and the surrealist, erotic, psychological thriller Belle De Jour was released. The after party for the film's New York premiere was held in a sprawling modernist Catskills home and was attended by Salvadore Dali, Andy Warhol, Catherine Deneuve, Twiggy, Lou Reed, Allen Ginsberg, Holly Woodlawn, Timothy Leary, Nico, Jim Morrison, Truman Capote, Mia Farrow, Jack Nicholson, Yoko Ono, and 60 others of the most influential members of the city’s exploding fashion, film, art, and music scene.
1967 has been called the year that changed fashion forever (see mood board): the space age, the Mod look, the miniskirt, go-go boots, Jackie Kennedy and the pillbox hat, the summer of love, all converging. So, pick your vibe, go as big as you want to - and remember that you can never be overdressed for Love, Velma.
